Purpose and History
Empower Collective was born from a simple yet powerful idea: no woman should feel alone or unsupported. Founded by Elizabeth Ochekwu and Thelma Foreman on January 1st, 2024, we recognised a growing need in the UK for a community where women could come together, share their experiences, and lift each other up.

As passionate advocates for women's empowerment, Elizabeth and Thelma understand firsthand the challenges many women face—feelings of isolation, lack of support, and limited opportunities. They envisioned a space where women could connect, learn, and grow, all while having fun and building meaningful relationships.
Mission, vision, and values
What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to community over profit. As a Community Interest Company (CIC), everything we do is for the benefit of women in the UK. Any surplus funds we generate are reinvested into our programs or, with the consent of the CIC Regulator, donated to charities that align with our mission.
